In the times of rapid changes in the world of work, including Industrial revolution 4.0, teachers and educational institutions need to rethink their pedagogical practices. How to succeed and how to sustain the relevancy of education?
In EMVITET project, we aim to empower Vietnamese teachers to develop their competencies towards Education 4.0. Teachers need new competencies in pedagogy and digital technology. They also need competencies to build learning ecosystems and new ways to collaborate with industry partners. Changes are required in students’ learning level as well as organizational level.
In our first article, Rethinking learning towards Education 4.0, written by Irma Kunnari, Ho Thi Hanh Tien and Thanh-Lam Nguyen, we share our first perceptions of developing Education 4.0 in Asian-European collaboration. With this article, we want to create a common ground and understanding what we are the most crucial things to focus on. We hope that this article gives you new ideas and inspires you to follow us!
